Hi All,
Summer is winding by but things are slowly happening with CAMTA!
Eileen and I have a short break today. Our guests have stayed overnight with some new found friends and will return a little later. Tomorrow morning we will take Anita and her twins for a sailboat experience on Sylvan Lake, courtesy of Aline and Bill Young. Aline is a long time CAMTA member and she sat with Anita, Eileen and I and the twins, Dustin and Damon at the 10th Anniversary Celebration in Quito.
The family arrived on June 27th and return home in early August. Mom should be healthy and the boys will - we think - have had an amazing month of July. University Camp, YMCA Camp, swimming, bicycling, stories and games plus lots of English.
After the sailing adventure we will head into the mountains for two days and one night. Then it's back to Edmonton and another clinic appointment.
The CAMTA CONTAINER is in the final stages of preparation. It has grown from a 20 foot to a 40 foot container. I just learned that yesterday from Judy Johnston of IMED in Saskatoon. They already have our load of donated office furniture that Dan Ducholke acquired in Calgary and the computers that were donated by the University of Alberta, Dept. of Computing Science. The IMED people are adding an anesthetic machine and hospital linens. Patricia Jarrin is also hopeful that another ultrasound machine could be included.

A CAMTA executive meeting will happen soon and team selection will get rapidly underway! We are working towards a new website in place and capable of accepting applications and donations for August 31, 2011.
Thanks!
