CAMTA News!

CAMTA Golf Tournie a great success!

Last week CAMTA received a cheque from the Saint Albert Saint City Rotary Club.  Jim Raso and Matt Moreau attended on behalf of CAMTA.  Jim is an engineer at the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital and is a CAMTA information systems volunteer.  Matt is the Sales Manager for Earthwater.ca.  Matt is a travel coordinator volunteer for CAMTA.
In the previous post, I described the golf tournament that  the Saint City Club sponsored for us in late August.  We shared the proceeds with a local Saint Albert Youth Club.
CAMTA is pleased to have received over $13,000 from this successful first time event!  THANKS to all of the volunteers from the Saint City Rotary Club for their hardwork!

Dr. Manuel Ordonez is sending the Xrays of our patients!
This morning Dr Manuel Ordonez e-mailed with some questions and some answers.  He's sending up the x-rays of our patients next week.  But he was also asking for clarification on the number of patients and the types of orthopedic problems.  I have forwarded that email on to Dr Ed Masson who leads the adult orthopedic surgical team and Dr. Marc Moreau - our President and leader of our pediatric orthopod team.
Here's a shot of Manuel and his family after they invited Marc, Barb, myself and Eileen to their house after the mission.  That's his youngest daughter to the left and Manuel and his wife on the right. Marc is holding "Rooster" -- the pet.

That's all for this moment but keep tuned to the blog!
Thanks.

John
