The ward is probably the place best remembered by the patients. Here they have the loving smiles of the staff. Here there are chances for conversation while doing the physio exercises. Consuelo Alvarez is originally from Colombia but as a Canadian working with CAMTA she has made a big difference because she relates so well to the patients on a personal level.
Back from the operating room with a new hip. Deb Chalupa, CAMTA ward charge nurse with Jorge.
Behind is a Tierra Nueva nurse and on the right recovery room nurse Michelle Piwowar and lay person Dorothy McGrath
Transferring Jorge back to his bed.
Sabrina Brown on the left with Chris Douglas, Joanne Brown and Darlene Hammell.
From the photos of Jorge being transferred from his stretcher to the bed you can see how everyone cooperates for major activities. The recovery room nurse, Michelle Piwowar brought the patient up the elevator along with lay person Dorothy McGrath. And then together with the CAMTA pediatric and adult nurses plus the Tierra Nueva nurses, Jorge was transfered to his own bed. His spinal anesthetic would still be effective and he can't move by himself.
Hi, probably our entry may be off topic but anyways, I have been surfing around your blog and it looks very professional. It’s obvious you know your topic and you appear fervent about it. I’m developing a fresh blog plus I’m struggling to make it look good, as well as offer the best quality content. I have learned much at your web site and also I anticipate alot more articles and will be coming back soon. Thanks you.
